Annual Gratitude Luncheon
NTLFG recently hosted a Gratitude Luncheon to celebrate the success of our staff and participants. The event was graced by Leonidies, an honorary speaker who shared his story of recovery and hope with the attendees. During the luncheon, Dwayne Harvey, the COO of NTLFG, was awarded the MVP of the year for his exceptional dedication and mentorship. Our CEO, Tiffany Harvey, was also recognized for her unwavering commitment to leading the organization to new heights and was gifted tokens of appreciation. The event was also an opportunity for NTLFG to show its gratitude to all its staff and participants by presenting them with thoughtful gifts. Overall, the Gratitude Luncheon was a heartwarming celebration of the achievements of NTLFG and its members.

NTLFG's partnership with Volunteers of America Chesapeake marks a significant milestone in the quest to provide hope and healing for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. The partnership aims to provide high-quality substance use treatment to the residents of VOA, ensuring that they receive the care and support they need to overcome their addiction.
NTLFG's substance use treatment program is designed to address the unique needs of each individual, providing a personalized approach to care. The program utilizes evidence-based practices and combines medication-assisted treatment with counseling and behavioral therapies to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Volunteers of America Chesapeake is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families in need. The organization provides a wide range of services, including substance use treatment, housing, and employment assistance, to help individuals achieve their goals and improve their lives.
Through this partnership, NTLFG and Volunteers of America Chesapeake are working together to make a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with substance use disorders. Together, they are providing hope, healing, and a path forward to a brighter future.

Our Mission
Our mission at Never Take Life for Granted Behavioral Health is a community-based organization dedicated to providing an environment of hope and possibilities. In addition to clinical treatment, we desire to instill hope by providing each program participant with peer coaching, life skills training and education of the disease of addiction. All of which will empower each participant and grant them a vision of what life can look like on the other side of their addiction and mental health challenges.

Treatment Services and Community Resources Provided By NTLFG
The professionals at NTLFG provide services to those with many unique emotional and behavioral issues.

Detox and Withdraw Management Referral
Granted Health will refer qualified patients to accredited inpatient treatment facilities for detoxification services . This services will allow individuals to minimize the risks associated with certain drug and alcohol withdrawals by providing 24-hour nursing care and programming.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program provides structured therapy three/four days a week. Clients typically spend 9-15 hours per week in the program. The treatment model is evidence-based and a combination of national recognized programs including the Narcotics Anonymous program, motivation enhancement therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. This program is designed for individuals with a high potential of relapse or stepping down from a higher level of care in need of more services than traditional outpatient services. Granted Health IOP is licensed by the BHA.

Outpatient Program (OP)
Outpatient Services are just one part of the continuum of services offered at NTLFG. After completion of IOP, an treatment plan and assessment will be conducted for OP services. The following services are also provided and included as part of a client’s individualized treatment plan:

Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP)
The goal is to empower individuals through the recovery process by seamlessly integrating safe and effective prescribed medications and individual therapy for mental illness and/or addiction. When participating in a PRP, an individual may engage in medication management, learn personal hygiene and daily living skills, vocational skills, and engage in other forms of therapy.
